AS I TRAVEL…

I keep this blog to chronicle my thoughts at various times…or anything that catches my eyes….to remember how I felt about something at some point. And so, now that I embark on what I hope will be the first of many travelling adventures (once I overcome my fear of adventuring alone ;)), I hope to chronicle everything I do, see, feel, right here. 
I think that for now, rather than starting a new blog exclusively for abroad, I’ll just keep posting here and organize everything on this page. Everything related to my trips will be nicely filed under this page. I might not always have computer access, so I’ll update whenever I can. I’m hoping to jot down stuff while I travel and then blog in my free time so it can be as fresh and real as possible…rather than trying to think back and remember how it felt.
This is also to keep my family and friends in touch….and to ensure that be envious of the great, great fun I will be having. GREAT FUN. HA…HA… *Nelson tone* =P
Also, while this is my first experience and I’m an ‘amateur’ traveller (though a professional ‘flyer’, unfortunately), I’ll still share my travelling tips and any advice from all the mistakes I’m sure to make. Hopefully they can be useful to someone somewhere sometime. I’d be delighted if anyone passing by would do the same, if you’ve been to these places and have anything to share or any tips to pass on to me while I’m there

My darling daughter,
I have no words to tell you how proud I am of you, how ‘Special’ a person you are and how blessed I am to have you!
Last night I saw a part of a very beautiful movie and I knew I had to tell you this: You are a very, very special person. You have not one but many, many gifts. I know that you will use them all and I also know that you will find yourself the way to that term called ‘ happiness’ in life. You have to promise me this as you set forth on your new journey of life that you will not/never allow anyone, however close or far to you, to ever dampen your vision for your life or hurt your sensibilities by their own mistakes or stupid ignorance of behavioural rules.
Nothing is worth that. You have too much at stake to lose yourself or your time on such foolish issues.
While I have always loved all your blogs, the latest one has me feeling so happy and proud of you as I realise how much of life you have understood and actually ‘realised and felt’.
I simply loved your Warmth on icy day!
I am very excited and scared too for you on your trip but I know that God is with you. You will be well taken care of and you will also take good care of yourself too. You have to.
